I would definetley recomend this game to anyone, and yes it is free so you have nothing to lose (exept bandwich I guess). Check out videos of this game on youtube and I’m shure you will really want this game.

Grinding in AR is pretty boring in lower lvls, but on hi-lvl map you’ll have really nice experience trying to stay alive. Go to Daisy, or moon map chain. Also, lol, about 15 maps – its only main chain. If you count rock nest chain, moon, pandea, space chain and a few unique mission maps (like HKH), there’s more than enough places to travel.

Also getting to lvl 60-70 (which can actually PvP even vs much higher lvls) takes about a month for lazy grinder and 1 week max for man with no life.

AR is all about pvp. And pvp here is extremely fun and skill-dependant. You dont point and click, you actually _pilot_ your gear. And if you suck at piloting, even the best equipment in the game won’t save you from loosing.

Once being 18 lvl M-gear i killed enemy 45 lvl I-gear 1v1. But again on my 74 lvl B-gear i was raped by 50 lvl B-gear. 1v1 too. Yeah, i suck as B-gear T__T

So i just want to say that regardless of players QQ at our forums, we all love AR and it’s definitely worth trying. EVE is good too, but it’s completely other game. I’d say they have almost nothing common.

And for choosing gear to start – my description for each 4 (as i played all hi-lvl gears exept AG whinch i made only lvl 50)

I-gear
Gear of choice for newbies. It’s pretty easy to control and has nice skills to make aiming easier. Also it’s the fastest gear in the game, which can boost faster than majority of in-game missiles. But as a backdraw it has bad survivability, so you’ll have to master piloting IG to last longer in battles.
Grinding IG is fast and easy.

B-gear
Has nice survivability (some skills like chaffs are really hax, lol) and bobing modes which make you deal huge damage in one shot. But bombing is completely different from shooting missiles as I-gear, bombs don’t lock on target. So there’s 2 types of B-gears: master pilots who are feared by everyone for OHKOing, and flying frags, who can’t anything exept ground mobs.
BG grinds extremely fast.

M-gear
Yeah, caster and healer. But a tank too. Mgears have best def-per-bonus stats, so proper builds of Mgears considered as hardest to kill. Also Mgears have unique ability to reverse in air, which helps to avoid bombing and keep in tail of Igears to don’t let them lock on you. In other hand M-gears have weak attacking ability, so you won’t get many kills.
Grinding MG is hell. Think twice before you start it.

A-gear
Flying tank with big cannon. If other gears’ attacks can be avoided by barrel-rolling, A-gear shooting can’t be avoided at all. You either have to be extremely defensive or evasive build to survive Agears shooting longer than 3-5 seconds. But A-gears weapon range is smaller than other gears’ lock-on range and also A-gears are perfect victins for B-gears. So it takes some skill to be good A-gear. But crappy A-gears are quite dangerous too.
Grinding AG is pretty slow and boring, but not that bad as it is for MG
