“You don’t want to know where I’m going to stick this thing.”
After five episodes of what was essentially filler, it looks like we are finally getting on with the rest of the season’s story. Actually, this episode was slightly more exciting than watching paint dry, and that’s purely because of the last 5mins where we learn that Tabitha will most likely play a pivotal role in the climax.
Marvel Comics has announced a partnership with Tokyo based anime production studio Madhouse to develop four 12 episode anime television series featuring Marvel super hero characters. The initial series will feature characters including Iron Man and Wolverine, among others,and will premier on the Animax network in early 2010.
Animania was held over the weekend. It’s an anime convention held twice a year in Sydney. Too bad it has to be smack in the middle of the semester, right between exams, and various other commitments meant I really shouldn’t have gone. Since I live around 15min walk from where it’s held, I thought I should pop in and have a look.
Just over a month ago, there were rumours that a second season of Full Metal Alchemist in the works, after a spreadsheet containing a list of animators from Bones was leaked out. Well, those rumours have now being confirmed.
Aww… no more little Saitos
If there was an award for the most wtf episode, this one will probably win hands down. Giant monster birds, multiplying Tifas, dead people not staying dead, Saito with breasts, Louise without breasts… oh wait, that last one is normal. It is probably the best episode of the series purely because of the hilarity of those wtf moments, and also the rest of the series will most likely fail completely.
We finally get an air date, October 2nd on TBS, courtesy of MOONPHASE. Alright hand up those who will be losing sleep for the next month and a half.
