Aww… no more little Saitos

If there was an award for the most wtf episode, this one will probably win hands down. Giant monster birds, multiplying Tifas, dead people not staying dead, Saito with breasts, Louise without breasts… oh wait, that last one is normal. It is probably the best episode of the series purely because of the hilarity of those wtf moments, and also the rest of the series will most likely fail completely.

Summary

Siesta to makes a serious play for Saito’s penis. As always she uses her guise as his personal maid to get close to him. It makes you wonder why Henrietta assigned him Siesta in the first place. The most obvious reason is for her to become a hindrance to Louise so she can make him her official manslave, but the most she has done so far is create an annoying love quadrangle.

The stare down before the felleta competition

Louise and Siesta declared an unofficial showdown at the Sleipnir Ball, where Saito is to pick one of them, it’s a completely biased competition considering Siesta didn’t even attend. But when did our favourite loli tsundere ever fight fair. The Sleipnir ball is essentially one big cosplay party but instead of costumes, they use some magical mirror to transform into their favourite character. Like all cosplay parties, many traps are of abundance.

Here’s that giant bird I was talking about. 100 points for those those that guessed what it actually was. Yes, I thought it was Sheffield as well… which it is just in case you haven’t watched the episode.

Sheffield finally returns and does something significant. Although once again, it was a combined screen time of about 30 seconds, and like always it ended up in major failure. But it’s all good, she’s back and it may result in some actual plot development.

Actually this time, Sheffield’s spectacular failure wasn’t entirely her fault. She can blame Tabitha for not being co-operative enough in destroying her friends. This was one plot development I did not want. Not after she was nice enough become a haremnette for me to fantasy about.

Colbert’s return is rather unexpected, but then again, this is an anime where the good guys never die. It will be revealed that he has just returned from his honeymoon with Kirche. The current Kirche in the academy is actually an imposter. If you look closely the her breasts aren’t as big since the since the start of the season. Maybe, they just look smaller compared to Tifa’s.

Thoughts

He installed the engines backwards! Colbert in his infinite wisdom, after shown a feat of engineering centuries beyond his comprehension, decides that he knows better and installed the propellers backwards. I’m just amazed that it even flies, and considering they have no way of refining fossil fuel, I wonder what it runs on.
