Dragonball live-action movie trailer
Anything that was good idea in anime must also be a good idea in 3D right? Wrong! You won’t find a better example of it than the latest Dragonball movie trailer. It looks truly, truly awful.
You would think, when Hollywood with their million dollar cheque books take a keen interest in anime, it has to be good thing. Unfortunately, that cheque book also comes with B grade Hollywood producers that seem to think they know better, and add their own touch of death.
Apparently this trailer was leaked as well.

Considering they had a budget of $100,000,000 dollars, I am amazed at how they managed to produce something of this quality. I mean, you can only spend so much on donuts…

i think it looks good. they have another 2 movies to do it right anyway. people wont be happy till they are blasting out supersaiyans and kaioken attacks so even if its not what we all hoped for. Im just thankfull they did it. better this than wating another 5 years to find out its just a rumor. im done with that!

Also, does anyone else think the part with the tanks blowing up comes from transformers? Considering it’s also Michael Bay who is directing? (if you don’t know, he directeed Transformers)

@Shadow: Just more of the Hollywood attitude of “We know what the audience wants to see.” Gee, let’s set the movie in modern day because the audience can relate to it. Never mind that Goku is a alien.

i know this will be a horrible movie. everyone does, the Hollywood douchebags are going to ruin it, and its going to be a shitfest. they shouldn’t even be allowed to call it dragonball, nothing in this movie besides the names, and goku’s appetite relates to the original anime. the dragonball series doesn’t deserve this kind of disgrace

They couldn’t let the Dragonball Saga go out without a BIG BANG and I say a live action movie was the best way.
I honestly can’t wait until the one for Dragonball Z!
I wonder what everyone will have to say about the StarTrek movie.

DB carton’s best cartoon serial i ever watch and i thing DBZ movie producer haven’t watch all the series…. but u have best effect and poor for story…
