Fullmetal Alchemist gets an air date
Okay, it’s not really an air date, rather an air month, but who the hell cares. All that matters is Fullmetal Alchemist 2 will launch in Japan in April. The show’s official website says so with a 10 second trailer. We all know nothing says “we’re serious” more than a 10 second trailer.
Considering Al’s metallic appearance, it looks to be an alternate continuation from the first season’s ending. However, I propose other reasons for the reappearance of the armour. Remnant of that Shambala incident. Al’s cosplay to attend Comiket. Recycling of old footage as part of Bones’s new information management.

Considering Al’s appearance, I’m really hoping for an alternate reality to the ending of the first series and the movie. Please, please, please. >_>

I thought it was going to follow the manga more closely? If it’s not following the manga then I’m not going to pay any attention to this series. The original manga-ka is the one with the brilliant ability to weave tales, not the anime staff. At least that’s definitely how I felt after I watched the first anime.
